Por mi estatura (1.70) me he decantado por la versión estándar, aunque me encanta la super adventure, pero siento que es más por corazón que por lógica. I just am having my 2017 DCT with about 75000 km on it giving me issues. Same thing happened 3 times, 1st time was pretty heavy traffic and i was going about 40-60km/h, in gear 5 or 6, and suddenly i lost all power to the rear wheel, i could rev the engine hitting higher rpms, but the bike does not pick up, am in neutral, and had to take Start the engine, let it reach working temperature. Select N. Stop the engine. While pressing D, switch the ignition on, wait until the yellow ‘engine' symbol goes out on the dash, then release D. Press in fast sequence: DDNDN. On the dash, the letters D and S should appear together. Restart engine, allow it to idle. Okay, so in the 8 years that I've been riding Honda's DCT bikes (2 x NC750X and 2 x Africa Twin), I honestly never knew you could / should reset the DCT every so often. I must say though, I never noticed any "issues" on either of my NC's. Not that I can recall. However, my 2020 ATAS has had it's "days" when the slow speed, or gear changes have DCT won't shift out of 1st. Last time I rode my bike (2 months ago) it was fine. Then I changed the rear tire and loaded it into my toy hauler. After traveling across the country I ride it an it won't shift out of 1st gear. I have verified the rear wheel spacers are correct. Everything looks correct on the rear wheel. For those considering the Africa Twin, the big fork in the road is whether to choose the manual transmission (MT) model or the DCT model, especially since the latter adds $700 to the price and 23 ac5ljqR.
