Hi can anyone help me. I have a 54 plate jaguar x type diesel 2 ltr. It has a bad oil leak which appears to be around the timing chain cover but it is very difficult to see exactly where it is coming from. It also has a strange noise on idle which, I believe, may be the auxilliary drive belt tensioner. If anyone could shed any light on these

I am looking at either the 2.0 or 2.2 engines, preferably saloon, for around £3500. I understand this comes with high mileage, which doesn't bother me as I do around 6000 miles a year!
